ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

The Foundation’s mission is to preserve Zell Miller’s legacy through programs that promote education, leadership, and service.

Our vision is to build a brighter future for Georgia.

PRIORITY PROGRAMS:

ZELL MILLER LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE:

A leadership development program designed to explore the core values Zell Miller felt were essential to becoming a more effective leader and decision maker.

Launched in January 2018, with 40 members in the inaugural class, this nonpartisan program consists of five weekend summits in Athens, Macon, Augusta, Columbus, and Savannah.

FORUM ON LEADERSHIP:

A signature annual event featuring nationally recognized speakers, authors, and thought leaders from business, government, academia and philanthropy.

Held in Atlanta, the event will allow attendees to engage with some of the nation’s foremost leaders through motivational speeches, keynotes, panel discussions, Q&A sessions, and book signings.

LECTURE SERIES:

Established to educate the public on Zell Miller’s life by examining his core values and the impact of his 46 years of public service.

Lectures will be held quarterly with strategic partners across Georgia at various locations.

The Zell Miller Foundation is a tax exempt 501(c)3 public charity designated by the Internal Revenue Service.  The Foundation is the only entity created with Zell Miller’s authority for the sole purpose of promoting his legacy.
