About the Academy
The Miller Leadership Academy prepares young professionals for successful careers in public service.
The Academy consists of five programs throughout the year across Georgia which focus on three core elements: leadership, government, and policy. Participants gain the skills to become effective leaders and decision makers as they learn to navigate the world of public service. We are proud to partner with the Carl Vinson Institute of Government and the J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development at the University of Georgia to provide the curriculum for the program.
Participants gain skills to help them become effective leaders and decision makers as they learn to navigate the world of public service. Each class will learn about the inner workings of state government and develop a clear understanding of how business and government intersect.
The Miller Leadership Academy launched in January 2018 and will run through October. The program consists of five weekend summits in Athens, Macon, Augusta, Columbus, and Savannah. The enrollment process is open to all Georgians.
